Check out the latest MTS Suction Systems UK Ltd update, helping you get the maximum performance from your MTS Suction Excavator..Lets Talk Filters...
You may already know the main suction filters are specifically designed to work with our patented cyclonic filtering system. These filters are required to maximise suction performance, protect the fans, remove dust increase longevity of your machine.
However, did you also know that unlike competitor machines, MTS machines are designed to have the filter blast running all the time?
Sequenced 30 second pulse blasts are regularly clearing each filter while you work. The design of the internal filter mesh then pulses the air across the filter media to dislodge the accumulated debris. This material is then deposited into the fines section of the tipping container.
So! As operators be sure to turn your compressor on and the filter cleaning on BEFORE you start the fans !
Furthermore, did you realise that after market filters have 20% less filter material than genuine MTS filters causing a reduction in performance! Use genuine filters for maximum power!
How to manage filter performance...
Wet filters attract dirt which is difficult to blow clean. Not an issue if the material is all wet or of low dust content. If you are moving from wet to dry, if possible, run the fans for a while to dry the filters without excavation taking place.
Check the material being excavated and remove plastic and paper which can travel airborne through to the filters.
